photos from the “artifacts” show
the show opening was a blast, so thanks a million to anyone who was able to make it out or who has seen the show in the weeks since. the show is still on view until december 9th, so if you haven’t seen it and would like to you still have a chance!
the gallery is open by appointment monday-friday, just dm the gallery on instagram. the gallery is also open to the public from 1-6 on saturdays. i’m planning on spending the day at the gallery on the 7th, so if you want to swing by and say hello, that would be a good time!
here are some pictures of the show, taken by Kick Art Studio. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fine art photographer. I hope you enjoy :)

monthly merch 4 sale
some updates:
i’ll only be running the shop until december 18th, then closing it down for the holidays and my road trip. if you’d like to get an order in to guarantee it gets to you by the holidays, please place your order before the 18th!
i’ve moved my print shop from inprnt to lama. lama offers high quality prints on archival museum grade paper, with more customization options for how the prints actually look on paper. they are based in france, so prices are in euros and sizes are european. please account for that, as well as longer shipping times, if you are ordering from the us
i will be putting all of the remaining original paintings from my show up on the web store in february when i reopen the shop!

works in progress
here’s some stuff i’m working on :)
heaven ii
this is still a “codename” situation. not sure if i’ll call it heaven ii, but the whole zine has been outlined! now i’m in the tedious stage of cleaning up dozens of drawings and coloring them in. anywho check out some spreads i’m particularly stoked on :)

embroidery
been messing around a bit with the concept of embroidering hats. got a test hat made up at lids, and i’m digging it! just did some edits to the file and will be making a total of 6 of these on some blanks i found in my studio building. maybe a limited drop coming soon? if it goes well, i may look into making more hats. i think a shirt collaboration is coming soon as well! we dig wearable stuff?
sticker pack
i’m working on a new set of 5 stickers, based on some standout flash pieces from this year. i should have them ready to rock in the web shop by december 5th or so! check out some previews

dog day afternoon
me and isa had a full day out around prospect park the other sunday, starting out at the brooklyn museum for the printed matter zine fair that was happening there. then we strolled through the park to find our way to dog day afternoon. by the time we got there, we were starving and fighting back tears. the glowing lights of the neon signs were like a beacon.
in all my years in nyc, i’ve never gone inside of a place to get a hot dog. it’s street food. but dog day afternoon was committed to the 80’s memorabilia and it was super tastefully done. we ordered chicago style hot dog and the chili cheese dog and took em outside along with our free vienna beef paper hats. these dogs were fantastic lemme tell ya.
if you find yourself in the southwestern corner of prospect park and want a quick bite, this is your spot. it’s even worth trekking out, tbh. the staff was also super nice, felt like that was worth a mention.
sojo spa
isa and i celebrated 2 years by taking the full day off and relaxing at sojo, a korean spa just over the hudson river in new jersey. i’ve never been to a spa before, so it was a truly alien experience to me. the whole facility is barefoot, so we had to leave our shoes in a locker by the front door. surprisingly, walking around barefoot remained a super clean experience. never had a spec of dust or dirt on my feet the entire time.
everything is controlled via a wristband you get at your shoe locker. once you change, you can select any number of baths or saunas to go to (and they had so many different ones). there’s also a ton of massage and scrub treatments you can get. we bopped around from bath to bath for most of the day, and had a couples massage in the middle of the day. i’ve never had a massage before and i can’t believe what i’ve been missing.
the last thing we did was go up to the rooftop heated pool and relax a little with really wonderful views of nyc. i think we spent like 6 or 7 hours in there just vibing. cannot recommend enough.
dream scenario
the shapeworld crew mobbed nitehawk the other night to see this new a24 movie. personally, i really liked it. the highlight to me was nicolas cage. he really nailed this role, and after seeing him recently in pig i feel like i can firmly say he is one of the best actors of our time. dude is incredible.
aside from that, the film explores a mashup of the “have you dream this man?” concept and nightmare on elm street. it’s a weird movie that grapples with a lot of ideas and themes. metaphysics, collective unconsciousness, and aspirations of greatness, to name a few. i really liked how everything came together, but also how much is not explained. this movie isn’t for everyone, but i really liked it. check it out!
honorable mentions
razza pizza in new jersey has a great hazelnut pizza that you should try ASAP.
we saw anatomy of a fall, and it was a hard choice whether to include that or dream scenario as the main shoutout. extremely good movie.
been listening to a lot of dead kennedys recently. not sure why, maybe because of the the below recommendation
i’ve been listening to the podcast trueanon lately, which is a great podcast for left leaning folks. it started as an epstein pod, but they cover a lot of historical events from a lens that really makes you raise an eyebrow at the whole accepted narrative of the capitalist empire. i recommend it if you’re interested in learning more about topics like the deep state, manufactured consent, and the israel palestine conflict.
